About the Author

David Weiss grew up in Schenectady, New York.  He now resides in nearby Guilderland with his wife, Joyce.  He holds a B.S. in mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.  He retired as Associate General Counsel for the New York State Teachers' Retirement System in 1996.  He published his first novel, Beyond the Tree House, in 2000.  Roots of his fiction stem from his legal background.
